Bafana Bafana star Bongani Zungu looks set to seal a move to Spanish La Liga side RCD Mallorca ending his three year stay in France.
According to reports in Spain, the 27-year-old is currently in Spain after terms were agreed between the Spanish outfit and Zungu’s current club, Amiens SC in the French topflight.
There however seems to be a catch that could hold the deal up as Amiens look to find a replacement for Zungu before any deal can be done.
If the French outfit do manage to bring in a Zungu replacement then the midfielder will be given the green light to join Mallorca on an initial loan move worth a €500,000 around R8m), before making the deal permanent with a fee upwards of €5m (around R80m).

The Bafana Bafana midfielder, who battled with injuries last season before returning to fitness for Bafana Bafana’s exploits at the Africa Cup of Nations, is believed to have already agreed personal terms with Los Bermellones.
The former Sundowns midfielder left South African shores for Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes in 2017 but was only in Portugal for a short spell before moving to France. Zungu has reportedly turned down a number of moves away from Amiens.
