Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Spain striker Joselu on loan from relegated Espanyol for next season.
“Real Madrid and Espanyol have agreed the loan of Joselu, who will be at the club for next season with an option to buy at the end of it,” said Madrid in a statement.

The 33-year-old forward has scored three goals in four games for his country. He also helps Madrid’s weak attack by bringing in more players.
Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, and Mariano Diaz have all left, so the team can now bring in some big new players.
Joselu is a journeyman striker who has played for 10 clubs in Spain, Germany, and England. He used to play for Real Madrid B and made one La Liga appearance for Los Blancos in 2010-2011.
Even though Espanyol was relegated, Joselu finished third in La Liga in goals scored with 16. This earned him a spot on the national team for the Nations League final four.
The goalkeeper scored the game-winning goal in the last minute of the semi-final against Italy. He also came off the bench in the final against Croatia, which Spain won on Sunday.
