Paris Saint-Germain have signed completed the signing of defender Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich for a reported fee of £34million.
The 2018 World Cup winner for France joins Manuel Ugarte, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, and Lee Kang-in as new players at Parc des Princes since Luis Enrique became coach on Wednesday.
Hernandez has signed a contract with the Qatari-backed team that will keep him there until 2028. After Christophe Galtier was fired, Luis Enrique is now in charge of the team after taking over for Galtier.
“I’m feeling so happy, I’ve been waiting to join PSG for some time now and at last it’s happened,” said Hernandez, who will be experiencing Ligue 1 for the first time in his career.

A source close to the deal said that the 27-year-old’s transfer would cost around 44 million euros. This is a lot less than the 80 million euros that Bayern wanted to pay for him.
Hernandez’s health is in question because he has only played 107 times for the Bundesliga giants in four years.
Since he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the ninth minute of France’s first World Cup game against Australia in Qatar, he hasn’t been able to play.
Hernandez will play defence with Slovakia captain Skriniar, who joined for free the day after Enrique was named manager. Asensio, who came from Real Madrid, will play up front.
The next day, Uruguayan midfielder Ugarte joined from Portuguese club Sporting. On Saturday, South Korean international Lee joined the Ligue 1 champions from Real Mallorca.
Enrique, who used to be the coach of Barcelona and Spain, has moved quickly to bring in new players because Kylian Mbappe’s future is still very uncertain.
PSG needs to sell their star player during this transfer window or they will likely lose him for free when his contract ends next season.
