Bafana Bafana striker Lebogang Mothiba has completed a move to Ligue 1 side Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace.
The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Strasbourg after parting ways with fellow Ligue 1 outfit Lille.

Speaking on his move to Racing, the Gauteng-born forward says he would like to repay the faith the club has shown in him by scoring many goals for them.
‘[I will] work hard at training and always give my best. Life is beautiful, I am lucky to be a footballer so I have to enjoy every moment,’ Mothiba told the club’s official website.
‘I am very happy to sign at Racing. I will give everything to the club, work hard every day and try to score a lot of goals to make people happy!’

Over the course of his career, Mothiba has scored 17 goals and assisted a further three from 51 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Lille and Valenciennes.
On an international level, the striker has managed to score twice from two appearances in all competitions for the South African national team since making his debut on 21 March 2018 under coach Stuart Baxter.
