SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels says Kaitano Tembo put a lot of effort into their defensive structure to prepare them for the threat of Kaizer Chiefs duo Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat.
Matsatsantsa will now have a chance to defend their MTN8 title after advancing to the final following their 3-2 aggregate win over the Glamour Boys.

Daniels says he is proud of what his side achieved against Amakhosi and dedicated his Man of the Match award to the United defence, who were able to fend off the onslaught of Chiefs.
‘From the last game we played them, we saw the threat they possess, they have great players up front – Khama Billiat, [Leonardo] Castro – it was important that we keep up at the back,’ Daniels told SuperSport TV after the game.

‘Our coach worked with us during the week. He put big effort into our defensive structure. This [award] is for the whole defence that worked with us during the week [at training]. We are very happy.
‘One thing in our team is that we pride ourselves in our job… We went back to the drawing board knowing that we have to put in the hard work. That’s why we always improve as a team. Our team this season looks strong. We take it game by game and well done to the guys.’
