Gift Links fires warning shots at SuperSport United

Cape Town City attacker Gift Links says he is going to be one of SuperSport United’s toughest challenges in the MTN8 final on Saturday, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.

The 19-year-old attacker joined the Citizens for a reported club record fee from Egyptian giants Pyramids during the summer transfer window.

The former Platinum Stars winger is confident about his ability and is looking forward to giving Matsatsantsa ‘one of their toughest challenges’ yet.

‘Anyone who will be playing on my side, I think I will give him a tough time. It’s going to be one of their toughest challenges because I know what I can do,’ Links said this week at Cape Town City’s training ground at Hartleyvale Stadium.

‘I don’t know what the one who’s going to play on my side can do, but most of the defenders, because my body is so small, think it’s going to be easy. It’s going to be a challenge that side.’

Cape Town City will take on SuperSport United in the MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday with kick off scheduled for 7pm.
