Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will do duty at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, while Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns will clash at the Cape Town Stadium in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals.
The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the MTN8 semi-final first- and second-leg fixture dates, venues and kick-off times.

Kaitano Tembo’s side stayed on course to defend their title by securing a 4-3 victory against Orlando Pirates following a pulsating 2-2 draw after 120 minutes.
They will meet Giovanni Solinas’ Chiefs side who secured an impressive 3-0 victory against Free State Stars, courtesy of goals by Dumisani Zuma, Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat.
Cape Town City defeated Maritzburg United 1-0 in what can only be described as a typical cup clash. The Citizens will look to clinch the MTN8 title after losing out in last season’s final to SuperSport United.

Benni McCarthy’s side will clash with Mamelodi Sundowns, who eased to a 1-0 victory against Golden Arrows in their quarter-final encounter.
A statement from the PSL read:
‘Tickets for the two-legged MTN8 semis are now on sale at TicketPro outlets at R60 for adults and R15 for children under the age of 12.
‘The first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 25-26 August. The return legs will be contested on the weekend of 1-2 September 2018.

‘The first match of the semis first leg will take place on Saturday, 25 August 2018 when last season’s finalists, Cape Town City, welcome Mamelodi Sundowns to the Cape Town Stadium. Kick-off for this fixture is at 3pm.
‘The following day, SuperSport United will look to take a step closer to defending their crown when they host 2014 champions Kaizer Chiefs at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium. Kick-off is at 3pm.
‘A week later, the four clubs will lock horns once more in the return leg.
‘On Saturday, 1 September 2018, Kaizer Chiefs will be at home against SuperSport United at 8:15pm (FNB Stadium). Then on Sunday, 2 September 2018, Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City will battle it out at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium (kick-off is at 3pm),’ the statement read.
