Benni McCarthy’s side will do battle with Pitso Mosimane’s outfit after playing to a goalless draw against Golden Arrows in their previous game while Sundowns were held to a 0-0 draw against Highlands Park, in a clash which saw defender Ricardo Nascimento sent off.
Putsche is well aware of the quality the big-spending club has in their arsenal, but the Austrian-born midfielder believes his side are well prepared for the task at hand.
‘We are aware of the depth they have in their squad but we are all up for the match regardless of which team they bring. We have players with real quality so if we apply ourselves correctly, then we are capable of getting the win,’ Putsche told reports.
‘You need to give these boys a little time to adapt to the team and to adapt to the league and the brand of football we want to play.
‘But it’s not about ability and potential; it is about consistency at the end of the day.’
