SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo conceded that Kaizer Chiefs may have the upper hand in their two-legged MTN8 semi-final after their 2-2 draw, writes DEAN WORKMAN.
The defending MTN8 champions hosted a struggling Chiefs side in the semi-final first leg at the Lucas ‘Masterpieces’ Moripe Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Chiefs got the vital away goal as Khama Billiat opened the scoring early on, but Matsatsantsa a Pitori hit back twice through Bradley Grobler to lead 2-1 at the break.
The Glamour Boys, however, got their second half to the best possible start as a delightful Leonardo Castro strike levelled the scores with just a minute played.

The former assistant at SuperSport brought on striker James Keene in an attempt to take a lead into next weekend’s second leg, but it was to no avail as the game ended level.
Speaking after the game, Tembo admitted that Chiefs may have an advantage heading into the next match at the FNB stadium, but he believes his team has the firepower to overcome the Soweto giants.
‘We could say that it’s advantage to Kaizer Chiefs, but we know the game can only finish on Saturday.
‘This is only the first leg and the second leg we can still win. We have the whole squad, we have the quality to go and get a result at the FNB,’ concluded Tembo.
