Watch as Highlands Park coach Owen Da Gama speaks to the media ahead of the MTN8 final against SuperSport United.
The Lions of the North come into the cup final relishing the tag of underdogs, according to the Highlands boss.
Highlands impressed many last season with a seventh-place finish which had them qualify for this season’s top-eight competition. Da Gama’s men have continued to show improvement this campaign and after beating Orlando Pirates 1-0 in the quarter-finals.

They followed that up with a resolute performance against Polokwane City, where they eventually won on penalties after both legs of the semi-final ended 0-0.
Highlands, though, will face a SuperSport side who have started the campaign in fine form both in the league and in the MTN8. They smashed Bidvest Wits 3-0 in the quarters and then defeated Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns 3-1 over their two-legged semi-final.
