Watch as Highlands Park players Luckyboy Mokoena, Peter Shalulile, Thela Ngobeni and Reneilwe Letsholonyane speak to the media in the buildup to the MTN8 final against SuperSport United.
The Lions of the North shocked many with a seventh-place finish last season in their first campaign back in the Absa Premiership.
They thus took their place in this season’s MTN8 and continued to make waves throughout South African football as they beat Orlando Pirates 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium to book their spot in the semi-finals against Polokwane City.

Owen Da Gama’s men then produced a resolute and disciplined performance against Rise and Shine and after both legs ended goalless, Highlands booked their spot in the final through a penalty shootout.
The growing club will now face SuperSport in the final and are anticipating a tough test against a team who will be competing in their third successive final.
Highlands invited the media to training on Tuesday morning, where a number of players were interviewed about the upcoming encounter.
Mokoena and Ngobeni spoke about the importance of the game to a club which is still looking to grow, with Ngobeni adding that his team is under no pressure.
