Downs head into the game with a slight advantage of an away goal after the 1-1 draw in the first leg a few weeks ago, but they are in the middle of a packed fixture schedule due to their participation in the Caf Champions League.

Mosimane’s team was in the Seychelles over the weekend for a preliminary Caf CL tie against Côte d’Or, where they romped to an impressive 5-0 win.

The team have travelled a lot and will have just one day of training before the semi-final clash with their Tshwane rivals.

Sundowns hosted a media conference at the Premier Soccer League headquarters on Monday afternoon, where Mosimane spoke of his team’s packed schedule, SuperSport’s impressive form. Arendse then touched on their lack of training and experience of navigating the tight timetable.
