SuperSport United captain Dean Furman is looking forward to seeing Ugandan international Moses Waiswa against Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Matsatsantsa from Viper SC after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract, which will see him remain at the club until 2022.
Waiswa has been at the club for the past six months but has been sidelined after sustaining an injury while on duty with the Ugandan national team that was preparing for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals.
Furman insists that he is also relishing the chance to see Guily Manziba showcase his talent after witnessing his squad during training.
‘Moses Waiswa and Guily Manziba are great additions to the squad. We are really pleased that Waiswa has regained full fitness and we saw his quality in the great victory over Chippa United. Guily has looked very exciting in training and is a very fast and direct winger,’ Furman told his club’s official website.
‘We are looking forward to seeing him in action and hopefully, he can add another dimension to the team in the final stages of the season.
‘It is a fantastic opportunity for Khanyisile Mayo to go on loan to Tuks FC. He will gain valuable experience and we hope he gets some game time there. The club will of course be tracking his progress and we all wish him luck and hope he makes a big impact.
‘I would like to personally thank our fans for their continued support. It means so much to us as players to see our loyal fans in the stadium every week. Let’s hope we can share some more great times between now and the end of the season.’
