Kaizer Chiefs veteran Willard Katsande has admitted that he knows his side will face a TS Galaxy team who will have millions of fans behind them wanting to see Chiefs fail, but he is confident that his side will get the business done in the Nedbank Cup final, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Chiefs are currently on a four-year trophy drought, and after another poor season, where they finished outside the top eight for the first time in 12 years, they will be desperate to lift the Nedbank Cup on Saturday evening.

However, they will face an underdog team in Galaxy from the National First Division, who will have the entire footballing fraternity behind them, barring obviously the Chiefs supporters, as they look to add to the woes of the Soweto giants.

Katsande is steadfastly confident that his team can handle the occasion and that they will get the job done this weekend.

‘We need to end this trophy drought, and God gave us an opportunity to play in this cup final this weekend, but we know that it is going to be difficult,’ said the Zimbabwean midfielder.

‘We are not underestimating them; we know their strengths and we have been preparing well and we know what we want.

‘We know they are a good team; they play good football, but for me I can say they can have possession, but we want the result, that’s what we want.

‘Our eyes are on the prize and we know how it is to be in the cup final. They are going to be excited to be in a final, they are going to try and make all the millions in South Africa [who supporter Chiefs’ rivals] happy by knocking the ball around, but we are going there for business and that’s to get the result.

‘To say its going to be easy, I would be lying to you, we know they are excited to be in the cup final and that they have been doing well in their league, but come Saturday we are business people and we are going to get the business done.

‘There will be no excuse, I don’t know how we are going to win it, but we are going to do the business and win the cup,’ concluded Katsande.
