AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin says they are “more than prepared” to face off against the defending Nedbank Cup champions Orlando Pirates.
Usuthu will come into this fixture off the back of a narrow 1-0 victory over Cape Town City at the DGL Stadium in the DStv Premiership this past Sunday.
They will now welcome the defending champions to the Moses Mabhida Stadium when the two sides meet in the quarter-final of the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
Martin is expecting an entertaining clash against worthy opponents, especially after Pirates recent 7-1 hammering of Golden Arrows.
“Our preparations as always are going good,” Martin told his club’s official website.
“We are trying to take over the team physically and mentally because we are coming from tough weeks.
“I think we are going to be more than prepared to face the best team in the last two years in knockout competitions, the defending champions.”
