‘I want to thank the Mighty God, we’ve been working hard since day one. Our hard work is something amazing,’ Ndlovu told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘We put it together. I’m so happy [because] we come a long way, we managed to get to the final. Playing a final against Kaizer Chiefs is something else hey. My dream just came true but I had to prove myself against Kaizer Chiefs that I’m the best. I’m so happy we won the Nedbank Cup.’
Ndlovu went on to explain how they planned to overcome the Soweto giants to lift their maiden Nedbank Cup title.
‘We had a plan, we knew that they will come [hard] at us especially in the second half and they did. We had to manage that and maintain the pressure. We managed to get that break that gave us a penalty you know. The hard work that we put in is amazing,’ he concluded.
