Everything you need to know about Sunday’s Nedbank Cup last 32 ties as Orlando Pirates moved into the last 16 with a 3-1 win over EC Bees.

Kjell Jonevret finally tasted success with Pirates, who were in control of the tie from start to finish at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.

Dove Wome opened the scoring in the 15th minute, before two second half goals from Mpho Makola and Thamsanqa Gabuza, who restored the two goal lead after Cilete pulled one back for hosts, added gloss to the scoreline.

There will be no repeating Cup heroics for Cape Town City, who were dumped out of the cup at the first hurdle by Acornbosh at the Kabokweni Stadium. The ABC Motsepe side took the lead in the 41st minute and never relinquished it as they knocked another Cape Town PSL side out of the competition after Ajax’s exit on Saturday.

At the Princess Magogo Stadium, Golden Arrows scored three first half goals to all but secure the win against Maritzburg United. Sibusiso Sibeko (22nd minute) Lerato Lamola (30mins) and Kudakwashe Mahachi (38mins) ensured the win before a consolation goal from Deolin Mekoa in the 66th minute.

Elsewhere, Mbombela came from a goal down to beat Days FC 5-2 to add their name to the list of last 16 teams.
