The dates, times and venues of the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals were confirmed by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Thursday.
The fixtures will be played over the weekend of 31 March – 1 April and will be spread across the country.
The PSL also confirmed that tickets will be available at TicketPro outlets nationwide from R40 for adults and R15 for children.
Maritzburg United will come into the quarter finals after a 2-1 victory over minnows Royal Eagles and will face Bloemfontein Celtic who eased passed Richards Bay United 3-1.
Ubuntu Cape Town will look to continue their fairytale run against Free State Stars. Ubuntu are this season’s giant killers, as the NFD side have already knocked out Polokwane City and AmaZulu. Luc Eymael’s team will be looking to add cup success to their good season after beating Chippa United 2-1 in the previous round.
The Nedbank Cup looks like Kaizer Chiefs’s most likely shot at silverware after overcoming lower league opposition in Stellenbosch FC 2-1 in the round-of-16. The Amakhosi will face a Boroka side who cruised past ABC Motsepe League side Steenberg United 2-0.
Cape Town City will have another tough task after beating Orlando Pirates 1-0. This time Benni McCarthy’s men will come up against Mamelodi Sundowns who beat EC Bees 2-1 in the previous round.
