Kaizer Chiefs attacker Siphelele Ntshangase says he is relishing the chance to face Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup semi-final on Saturday.
The 24-year-old has only managed to make nine appearances for Steve Komphela’s side since joining the club from Baroka during the January transfer window.
The Pongola-born player admits that it has taken time to settle in at Chiefs, but he insists he’s ready to make an impact against Ea Lla Koto in the Nedbank Cup if called upon.
‘It’s all about the team,’ Ntshangase told his club’s official website. ‘I have to be ready whenever I am asked to play.’
‘We haven’t won a trophy for two seasons. We definitely want to reach the final, which will give us an opportunity to win something.
‘If I get a chance, I will grab it with both hands.’
Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome Free State Stars to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the Nedbank Cup semi-final on Saturday, with kick-off set for 8:15pm.
