Orlando Pirates claimed a 3-1 victory over Richards Bay to secure their place in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.

Patrick Maswanganyi bagged a brace, while Tshegofatso Mabasa also got his name on the scoresheet, while Yamela Mbuthuma’s 47th minute goal proved to be a consolation goal at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.

The victory sees the Buccaneers advance to the next round of the competition, while the Natal Rich Boys were eliminated from the competition.
