The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the draw for the Last 32 of the Nedbank Cup which took place on Thursday evening.
Defending champions and the Royal Eagles are set to go head-to-head, having started their respective campaigns on a high, with Matsatsantsa at the summit of the Absa Premiership, while Eagles in second position on the National First Division standings.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates, who finished as runners-up last season will take on Eastern Cape’s Safa league side EC Bees.
Caf Champions League champions Mamelodi Sundowns were also drawn against Safa league side Mariveni United from Giyani in Limpopo province.
While Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are set to play NFD side Stellenbosch as they kick off their 2016-17 campaign.
The last 32 draw produced only two clashes involving Absa Premiership sides, with Free State Stars drawn against Highlands Park, while Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United are set to lock horns in a KZN derby.
The Nedbank Cup is scheduled to begin on Wednesday March 8.
