Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Mosa Lebusa expects SuperSport United to bring their A game when the two sides meet in the Nedbank Cup opener.
The Brazilians will face Matsatsantsa in the Nedbank Cup round of 32 in February after the Tshwane rivals were drawn against each other in the draw in Sandton last week.
This will be the third time the two sides meet in a cup competition, having already faced each other twice in the two-legged fixture in the 2019 MTN8 semi-finals earlier this season.
However, Sundowns and SuperSport will first go head to head when they meet in the Absa Premiership on 19 January before their Nedbank Cup fixture.
Lebusa has warned his side not to underestimate United as he expects a tough performance from Kaitano Tembo’s men.
‘I think every game that we play forces us to get down to business, whenever teams face Mamelodi Sundowns they bring their A game, SuperSport is no exception to that,’ Lebusa told his club’s official website.
‘SuperSport always gives us a run for our money, and it’s going to be a tough one.’
