SuperSport United advanced to the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals after clinching a 2-1 victory over Cape Town Spurs at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.

The Tshwane Giants have now become the first team to qualify for the next round, while the Urban Warriors journey in the competition has come to an end.

The Cape Town opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute through Therlo Moosa before Ime Oko equalised in the 36th minute.
