Their opponents, on the other hand, caught the eye of many when they beat national first division side Macabi FC in the last round. They, however, now face a different test altogether as they come up against the Soweto giants in Port Elizabeth.

The Nedbank Cup offers the Glamour Boys with a chance to end their three-and-a-half-year trophy drought, and with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns already out of the competition, the Amakhosi are undoubtedly among the favourites. But they first have to get past their lower league opposition on Sunday.
