Sudanese outfit Al Hilal have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Abdul Ajagun from DStv Premiership side Cape Town City.

The 28-year-old has been with the Citizens since joining the club as a free agent in February 2021 following a stint with Belgium outfit KV Kortrijk.

The Nigerian midfielder has managed to scored six goals in 23 appearances across all competitions during his time with the Mother City outfit.

Ajagun is the second player to part ways with City this week following the departure of Abbubaker Mobara, who completed a move to AmaZulu to link up with former coach Benni McCarthy.
