Ajax Cape Town have responded to ruling in the Tendai Ndoro case which has seen them docked nine points and subsequently relegated.
Safa made the announcement earlier today, which will now see Platinum Stars do battle in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
The Urban Warriors have responded in a series of tweets which read: ‘Ajax Cape Town are currently consulting with their legal team regarding William Mokhari SC’s arbitration ruling released this morning.
‘The club is in the process of preparing papers to be filed urgently before the High Court in Johannesburg for the matter to be heard tomorrow morning at 10am.
‘Among other issues, the club will seek to interdict the promotion playoffs from commencing on Wednesday, 16 May at 3pm. This will be sought pending an urgent review of the arbitrator’s award this morning.’
