AmaZulu have granted assistant coach Moeneeb Josephs a contract extension which will keep him at the club until the end of the current season.
The former Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits goalkeeper will continue serving as an assistant to Ayanda Dlamini, having already reached an agreement with Josephs.
The Mitchells Plain-born great’s initial contract with the Durban-based outfit expired at the end of June, but Usuthu general manager Lunga Sokhela confirmed that he has agreed a deal and will sit down with Josephs at the end of the current campaign to discuss his future.
‘We’ve agreed with Moeneeb that he will stay on as an assistant coach to Ayanda Dlamini until the completion of the season,’ Sokhela told the Daily Sun.
‘At the end of the season, the club will hold talks with him.’
Over the course of his career, Josephs kept 136 clean sheets from 305 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu.
