AmaZulu have officially announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mario Booysen.
The 31-year-old spent just one season with the Soweto giants before he parted ways with the club at the end of the 2018-19 season, having made 14 appearances across all competitions during that time.
However, the Cape Town-born defender has since joined Usuthu after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract Durban-based outfit.

Booysen could be in line to make his debut for AmaZulu this weekend when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the last-16 round of the Telkom Knockout Cup.
On signing a deal with Usuthu, the former Sundowns and SuperSport United defender said: ‘For me to use my experience and be a leader is what the coach (Jozef Vukušič) wants,’ Booysen told AmaZulu’s official Twitter.
‘To help improve the team and get back where we belong.’
AmaZulu against Mamelodi Sundowns is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Sunday.
