Antonio Van Wyk says he is ready for the challenge that lies ahead after joining Austrian outfit SV Guntamatic Ried from Stellenbosch FC.

The 22-year-old joins the Austrian outfit for an undisclosed fee after Stellies reached an agreement with SV Reid for the permanent transfer of Van Wyk.

Van Wyk came through the ranks of Stellies Academy and went on to score six goals and registered 11 assists in 78 appearances across all competitions.

The winger has stated that he is delighted to have signed for the Austrian second tier side and is relishing the chance to showcase his talent at his new club.

“I am very happy that I was able to sign with SV Guntamatic Ried,” Antonio Van Wyk told his club’s official website.

“I feel that this is a great club to take my first steps in Europe and I promise that I will do my best and hopefully create a positive atmosphere in the club. I am ready, let’s go!” says Antonio Van Wyk.
