Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy is expecting an entertaining battle against Bloemfontein Celtic in their final Absa Premiership game of 2018, writes DYLAN APPOLIS.

The Citizens head into their final encounter of the year in ninth place with 17 points from 13 games, while Siwelele sit seventh with 21 points having played one game more.

McCarthy says he is looking forward to an attacking game against Steve Komphela’s men, although he predicts a tough task ahead of them.

‘The game should be good for attacking football, and what the fans want to see, both teams going at each other like a chess game,’ Benni said.

‘So I’m looking forward to the last game, but I hope my players won’t think they’re on holiday already.’

Cape Town City are set to welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to Cape Town Stadium when the two sides square off in the Absa Premiership on Saturday, with kick-off set for 6pm.
