Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat says he’ll ‘never be happy’ with his performance but is adamant on contributing to the teams success.
The 29-year-old has been struggling to hit top form this season but has played a major role in the team success, having found the back of the net once while assisted two goals from 10 appearances across all competitions.
The Glamour Boys currently occupy top spot in the Absa Premiership with a 10-point lead over second placed Mamelodi Sundowns after 11 games played this season.
However, Billiat admits that he is not satisfied with his performance but is determined to better his performance to add to the teams success.
‘Obviously I’ll never be happy [with my performance]. I always want to do better; I always want to contribute as much as I can, but I’m happier when the team is doing well,’ Billiat told the media.
‘When everyone is scoring goals from different angles, it gives us more depth. At this moment, I don’t think it would be fair to be selfish and look at how I’m doing.
‘The team is doing well; I look at how well we’re doing, and I just want to contribute in a positive way that helps the team win as many games as we can. It’s not about me.’
