Kaizer Chiefs head coach Giovanni Solinas believes there are no problems at Naturena despite the side still seeking their first Absa Premiership victory of the season.

The Glamour Boys drew 1-1 with Baroka FC on Tuesday night at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, a result which extends their winless run in the league under new boss Solinas.

Chiefs drew their opening day game against Mamelodi Sundowns, were beaten 3-1 by Bidvest Wits and now the draw against Baroka sees the Amakhosi sit 13th on the Absa Premiership log with two points after three games.

Despite their failure to pick up their first win of the new campaign, Solinas believes his side does not have a problem.

Speaking to SuperSport TV after the match against Baroka the Italian said that he told his players to, ‘Play [with] confidence, play bravely. Don’t rush, continue to play football, continue to play quickly. We don’t have the problem, we played the first half very well.

Solinas, however, was forced into a number of substitutions on the night as his players were feeling the effects of last Saturday’s MTN8 quarter-final victory.

‘We needed fresh players, I changed [Gustavo] Paez because he was not in a good physical condition. The fitness of Paez is not top,’ said Solinas.

‘I changed [Siphiwe Tshabalala] Shabba towards the end because I needed a fresh player on the wing.

‘I changed [Leonardo] Castro because he said to me “I’m exhausted please change me” so I put on [Ryan] Moon,’ concluded the former Free State Stars coach.
