Maritzburg United have bolstered their squad with the signing of Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala on loan for the remainder of the season.

Twala got off to a promising start at Chiefs after joining midway through the 2015-16 campaign from Chippa United, however the 27-year-old has since failed to establish himself as a regular in Steve Komphela’s team having not been in the match day squad for eleven consecutive league games.

He last featured for Chiefs in the 2-1 loss against Baroka in September 2017.

Chiefs took to their official twitter account to publicise the details of the move.
