Ugandan defender Godfrey Walusimbi has become the latest player to sign for Kaizer Chiefs following the recent arrivals of Lebogang Manyama and Mario Booysen.
The Soweto giants have filled the void left by veteran defender Tsepo Masilela, who was released by the club last season, by snapping up the services of the 29-year-old from Kenyan club Gor Mahia.

‘Wazza’, as the player is known, is a fully-fledged Ugandan international and boasts continental experience following his exploits with Gor Mahia in the Caf Confederation Cup this season.

Walusimbi has penned a three-year deal with the Amakhosi and will compete for a starting berth in Giovanni Solinas’ side with Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya and the newly-acquired Letlhogonolo Mirwa.
