Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that midfielder Wiseman Meyiwa is out of the intensive care unit and is said to be recovering after his car accident.
The former South African youth international became the second Amakhosi player to be involved in a car accident in recent weeks after attacker Lebogang Manyama sustained an injury in a collision last month.

Amakhosi took to their official Twitter account to publicise details of Meyiwa’s progress.
‘Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Wiseman Meyiwa is out of ICU. He is stable under the care of specialist’s supervision,’ said the club.
‘We wish him a speedy recovery,’ the tweet read.
The rising starlet was promoted to the first team at the start of the campaign under coach Giovanni Solinas, but has made just one start and one substitute appearance in 2018-19.
