Kaizer Chiefs have teamed up with their official vehicle partner Toyota to launch the first-ever Virtual Chief Challenge played on Fifa 22, starting this November.

This new venture will give Amakhosi fans the opportunity to enjoy the game they love in a new way.

In the tournament, players will use Amakhosi as their team to find out who will be crowned the one true Virtual Chief. The winner of Chief of all Chiefs will walk away with the grand prize of R10,000 cash, with R3,000 and R2,000 going to the players who finish in second and third place, respectively. All three players will also be rewarded with the coolest Chiefs merchandise.

As a bonus, celebrity games will also take place, with some Kaizer Chiefs stars, which will be available for viewing on the club’s YouTube channel.

How to enter:

The first 256 people to register via the Kaizer Chiefs online platforms (website and social media platforms) will secure their spot in the Virtual Chief Challenge, which runs from 15 November to 11 December.

Tournament structure:

There will be two Qualifier Cups, each consisting of 128 players. The best 16 players per cup progress on to the group matches, where they will be split up into eight groups of four. The top-two players from each group move on to the playoffs for a place in the final.

The Toyota Gaming Engine will host the games. It is home to all Toyota esports action from South Africa, the world and beyond. Whether you’re a serious gamer or a newbie, once signed up on the Kaizer Chiefs online platforms, you’ll join a community of fans who play for the sport of it.
