Chippa United have bolstered their squad by announcing the signing of striker Gift Motupa from Orlando Pirates ahead of the 2018-19 season.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Chilli Boys which will keep him at the club until 2021.
Motupa spent the whole of last season on loan at Baroka, where he managed to score nine goals from 22 appearances, two goals short of joint top Absa Premiership goalscorers Rodney Ramagalela and Percy Tau.
Chippa’s chairman Siviwe Mpengesi said: ‘He showed quality at Baroka by scoring nine goals and we have no doubt he will add value to our firepower up front.’
The Limpopo-born striker has now become the club’s second signing after extending the contract of Serbian coach Vladislav Heric for another season.
