Chippa United have confirmed the departure of former Orlando Pirates winger Thabo Rakhale.
The 30-year-old joined the Chilli Boys from the Buccaneers in January 2018 and established himself as a crucial member of the first team.
Rakhale managed to bag five goals and provided a further 10 assists in 68 appearances across all competitions for Chippa.
Chippa United released the following statement on their social media platforms:
‘Thabo Rakhale’s contract has expired. We can confirm the club and Thabo have amicably decided to part ways.
‘The club would like to thank Thabo “Jomo” Rakhale for his service at the club for the past 3 years. He will surely be remembered. We wish him well in his future endeavours.’
