Cape Town City have received a major boost after midfielder Chris Davids returned to full training ahead of their clash with Chippa United this weekend.
The 26-year-old has made just 11 appearances across all competitions for the club, while finding the back of the net on two occasions before being sidelined with a long-term injury.
David’s last appearance for the Citizens was on 10 August, when they secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC in the first Western Cape derby of the season.
Since then, the former Fulham midfielder was on the bench against Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, and has been out of action until now.
