Cape Town City have confirmed that Aubrey Ngoma has returned to training, following a long spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Ngoma played a crucial role in helping City secure third place in the Absa Premiership last season, while also helping them clinch the 2016-17 edition of the Telkom Knockout.
However, the midfielder is yet to take to the field in this campaign as he undergoes his rehabilitation, having last played for City when they suffered a 4-2 defeat against Polokwane City on 27 May 2017.
Cape Town City will be without their star man when they take on Chippa United at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 15:30.
