Cape Town City have been given a boost after Nigerian striker Victor Obinna return to full training following his hamstring injury which kept him sidelined for three weeks.
The 30-year-old nursed his way back from a hamstring injury he sustained during the Citizens 1-0 victory over Free State Stars on 1 November.
‘Victor Obinna resumes full training this week after successfully recovering from an injury which kept him sidelined for over 3 weeks!’ City announced on Twitter.
City coach Benni McCarthy also that star Aubrey Ngoma could start against the Team of Choice after making his first appearance during their 2-2 draw with Golden Arrows last week, since returning from a knee injury.
The Citizens currently occupy fourth place in the Absa Premiership standings with 17 points from 11 games, trailing log leaders Baroka by two points.
Cape Town City will be hoping to return to winning ways when they welcome Maritzburg United to Athlone Stadium on 5 December.
