Cape Town City confirmed that midfielder Thabo Nodada is expected to return in time for their mouth-watering Absa Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs next week.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off the field during City’s triumph over Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final at the Lucas Moripe Stadium over the weekend, which saw them advanced to the final.

However, the club confirmed that Nodada is only expected to face seven to 10 days on the sideline with a grade two strain.
Cape Town City’s clash against Chiefs is scheduled for 15 September after the Fifa international break.

Thabo Nodada’s diagnosis shows that he only suffered a grade 2 sprain, which has a recovery time of 7-10 days.
