Cape Town City have announced the signing of Dutch winger Bernio Enzo Verhagen from Moldovan National Division outfit Dinamo Tiraspol.

The Citizens continued to bolster their squad ahead of the new season with the 25-year-old becoming the latest signing after City captured the services of Abbubaker Mobara and Tashreeq Morris.

City officially confirmed their new signing on their Twitter page, which reads: ‘Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of Dutch winger Bernio Enzo Verhagen from Dinamo Tiraspol.’

Benni McCarthy’s side will be hoping to improve on their fifth place finish during the 2018-19 Absa Premiership season.

Cape Town City are set to play Baroka in their Absa Premiership opener at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 3 August with kick off set for 3pm.
