Cape Town City have announced the signing of Ivorian defender Kouassi Kouadja, who joins the club as a free agent.
The 22-year-old defender joins the club after putting pen to paper on a four-year contract, the club revealed.
Kouadja brings a wealth of experience to City, having spent four years playing in Europe for leagues in Moldova, Romania, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
‘The club welcomes Kouassi’s signature amid interest from Spain, a signal for the intent and progression of the @OfficialPSL,’ City tweeted earlier this morning.
The Citizens have already bolstered their squad by signing Riyaad Norodien, who joined the club from Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
Over the course of his career, Kouadja has 69 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of FK Tambov, Astra Giurgiu, Saxan Ceadir-Lunga, FK Slutsk and FK Aktobe.
