Cape Town City have confirmed that midfielder Chris David is expected to return to full training at the end of the month.
The 26-year-old has managed to score two goals from 11 appearances in all competitions since joining the club as a free agent after leaving Eredivisie side FC Utrecht at the end of the 2017-18 season.
David last featured for the Citizens during their 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC at Cape Town Stadium on 10 August.
However, he has since been out of action as he continues to mend his way back to full fitness from his long-term injury.
The Citizens have since confirmed that David has started light training as he is expected to return at the end of November.
‘Chris David has been involved in light training and running sessions. He is expected return to full training at the end of the month,’ CT City confirmed on their official Twitter account.
