Orlando Pirates co-coach Fadlu Davids says his side are aiming to walk away with all three points when they travel to the Mbombela Stadium to face TS Galaxy on Monday afternoon.
The Buccaneers will be hoping to bounce back and return to winning ways after they were held to a goalless draw by Chippa United in midweek action of the DStv Premiership.
Pirates come into this match sitting in fourth place in the league standings, with 40 points from 26 games, while the Rockets are second from bottom in 15th with just 23 points after 26 matches.
Davids admits that claiming maximum points for both teams will be crucial as they are fighting to stay in the top four, while Galaxy are fighting for survival in the league.
“The approach is clear: we are going for three points away from home in Mbombela,” Davids told the club’s social media platforms.
“We know it is going to be a tough match, tactically in their 4-3-3 system, 4-5-1 in defence. [They are] quite defensively organised,” he continued.
“They play with five plus five and four plus one and then five up front. We have to manage to break them down.
“This is the business end of the season all points count, so we are going for the maximum points.
“They are fighting relegation, so they are going for the maximum points as well. Points will be gold for them.
“But I’m sure we have to play our game to be able to get the three points.”
