Mamelodi Sundowns have been tempted with a €1-million offer for the services of influential Bafana Bafana playmaker Keagan Dolly, according to reports.
The 23-year-old, who featured prominently for South Africa at the Rio 2016 games, is currently pursuing legal remedy regarding his contract with the African champions but the interest in his signature rages on.
The PSL DC was expected to deliver their ruling in December but both the player and his club are without an answer with the transfer window now open.
SoccerLaduma report that Ligue 1 side Montpellier, the 2012 French champions, are interested in Dolly and have tabled an offer €200 000 more than what Olympiaco tabled in the previous transfer window.
The left-footed playmaker, who cut his teeth at Ajax Cape Town, scored eight goals in all competitions for Sundowns last season as he began an instrumental part in Pitso Mosimane’s plans.
With interest in Dolly reaching new heights, it is unclear if Mosimane or the club will sanction a move for the player who forms one part of the formidable attacking ‘CBD’ trio.
