Cape Town City returned to winning ways in the league after they cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Swallows FC through two stunning goals from Taahir Goedeman and Taariq Fielies at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
The victory sees City remain in eighth place in the league standings – level on 26 points with TS Galaxy in seventh position, while the defeat leaves Swallows sitting in 14th place with 21 points.

Kaizer Chiefs were left frustrated after Golden Arrows came from behind to secure a thrilling 3-2 win at the FNB Stadium when a brace by Knox Mutizwa and a goal by Ntsako Makhubela cancelled out goals by Sfiso Hlanti and Mduduzi Shabalala.
The defeat saw Amakhosi remain in fifth place on the log with 28 points from 20 matches, while Arrows’ victory sees them move up to 10th position with 25 points from 20 matches.
