Orlando Pirates’ new signing Siphelo Baloni admits he still needs to work on and improve as a player following his move to the Buccaneers.
The 23-year-old joined the Sea Robbers from Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars FC.
Baloni was one of four players unveiled by Pirates alongside the likes of Katlego Otladisa, Melusi Buthelezi and Patrick Maswanganyi.
The winger, who is currently with the Pirates squad for their pre-season camp in Marbella, says he has already been put through his paces as he looked to improve his game ahead of the 2023-24 season.
“So far the pre-season is so good and the team welcomed me so well with a warm hand,” Baloni told Pirates media.
“The coaches are giving us some tactics to learn more to improve as a player [and] individual and also the team to improve.
“Going forward I will improve a lot because I still need to improve as a player from All Stars. There are some of the things that I don’t know, there are some of the things that I need to tick from the coach because he showed me some of the things that I need to work on.
“So I can say that I’m glad to be here and I’m happy to be here.”
