Cape Town Spurs have confirmed that coach Shaun Bartlett has extended his contract with the club after guiding the Urban Warriors to promotion to the DStv Premiership.
The 50-year-old mentor will remain at the Cape Town-based outfit after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract extension.
Bartlett proved himself this past campaign after he guided the club to a second place finish in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
He was at the helm when Spurs gained their promotion to the DStv Premiership via the playoff in which they secured three wins and one draw in four matches against Maritzburg United and Casric Stars.
The Urban Warriors have since rewarded Bartlett for his efforts during the 2022-23 season by handing him a contract extension which will see him remain at the club for another two seasons.
“Cape Town Spurs are pleased to announce that Shaun Bartlett has extended his contract for a further 2 years,” Spurs announced on their website.
“We wish Shaun all the best for the new season.”
